Since obtaining an LL.B. from the Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), in 1992, she has worked in the legal department of companies, an investment bank and, since 1995, she has been working in a law firm, always in the tax area.

She has extensive experience in both administrative and judicial litigation, in the tax area, before the various courts, including CARF and the Higher Courts.

She also provides advisory services to companies in the tax and social security areas.

Her experience in the public law allowed her to work on regulatory litigation, in defenses against administrative assessments by regulatory agencies, with relevant victories in the Judiciary involving the matter.

She is responsible for the tax matters of various due diligences.

She has been a State Government Attorney for the State of Rio de Janeiro since 1996, which provides her with a broader view of public law and strategy in judicial litigation.
